Allow us to inform you of this unfortunate event that has occurred. Following the escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the European Union has decided to apply sanctions against Russian institutions, individuals and banking houses.
Due to the deterioration of the liquidity situation, the Czech National Bank decided to revoke the licence and withdraw the permission of Sberbank CZ a.s. to operate as a bank. This situation also applies to companies who accept or make payments through this bank.
From 28. 2 2022 PPL has stopped transactions to Sberbank CZ a.s.. Therefore, we kindly ask our customers using this bank to contact customer service, where they will be happy to handle the situation with you.
We are currently addressing the situation with our customers, suppliers and employees and other affected groups. PPL operations are not affected.
For all groups, we recommend that you open an account with a different bank so that we can process transactions and avoid further problems.
