This update takes into consideration modern new approaches and processes, safety measures to be followed during forwarding of parcels, or adds provisions relating to the epidemic.

We have now added provisions to the General Terms and Conditions stating that any parcel which contains items to which any regulatory restrictions apply will be deemed to be an unacceptable parcel. This concerns so-called dual-use items, described in detail in Act No. 594/2004 Sb.
We also provide detailed description in the new General Terms and Conditions, of parcels which are unacceptable due to a natural person, legal entity or any other entity to which any sanctions, trade restrictions, an embargo imposed by the UN, the EU, the USA or other international institutions apply being involved in transportation.
The General Terms and Conditions now also provide regulation for circumstances which PPL is unable to influence, so-called force majeure events. Extension of the provisions relating to such events relates for example to epidemics, pandemics and other reasons.
