Petr started work in PPL in 2002 while he was still studying. He started doing part-time work printing labels and worked his way up through various jobs all the way to the position of Operations Manager over the course of 14 years. He was then appointed CEO of the whole company in February 2019. With this appointment, Petr took over the position previously held by his father, the company founder, who had managed the company for many years.
“Taking over my father’s position represented a huge commitment on my part towards the team of wonderful people we have here. I definitely felt great respect and also accountability. My intention is to take PPL into the 21st century, an era in which we will face digital and environmental challenges. I look forward to being able to directly influence what is happening in the company.”
